Pet care and small dog adoption:  bringing young families and small hypoallergenic dogs together

Help us to start our organization.  We are trying to first raise $1,000 (click "pledge your support now" button on right) to help dogs at the Peninsula Humane Society in Burlingame, CA (www.peninsulahumanesociety.org)

 

We plan to apply your contribution to fund the following:

 

1. Create an automated way for new families that want to adopt their first designer breed hypoallergenic small dog to be notified as soon as one arrives at the shelter.  These dogs are adopted quickly. 
   
   Your donation will enable improvements to the website and social media presence.  We will post a status update here on our progress when we raise the funds to start this improvement project.
    

2. Give gifts to the Peninsula Humane Society that will benefit the dogs.  Ideas we have include:

   • Dog beds

   • Fur cuts

   • Beef flavored puperoni dog treats

   • A small donation of cash or dog care equipment for their organization every time one of our adopting families is able to find a dog at their shelter.

   • Hire a professional groomer to do more regular bathing and brushing services; also, to pay for dog grooming classes I can attend so that I can in the future provide some of the dog grooming services at the shelters myself.

   • Organizing outreach programs where we can bring dogs out to meet potential families and play with children and their parents.

     ​We will post our progress on implementing these above ideas and more when we raise the funds to start the gifting program.
      

3. ​Design and produce HelpingSmallPaws.org T-Shirts.  We have a really nice initial design and prototype of our organization's T-Shirt using Pucci our mascott.
